50ms: that's the average response time of vpsbenchmarks test website during the 2 week trial that ended on January 3rd on DigitalOcean $10 plan. That's just in the middle of the pack but pretty close to the fastest solutions available out there. All numbers are available on the trial page.
No outage of any kind to report, it was smooth sailing. As usual, the instance creation process was fast and straightforward.
Compared to the previous test we ran back in June on the same DO plan, the response time was improved 50%.
Worth noting that the CPU reported in /proc/cpuinfo is no longer "QEMU Virtual CPU version 1.0" as it used to be with DO VMs but a real CPU name. In this...
